About VIM: The Black Girl Collective
This is more than just a vibe. It’s a movement.
VIM: The Black Girl Collective is a curated series of luxury social events made for Black women to feel seen, celebrated and connected. Born in Manchester, we’ve now grown into a UK wide and international network, bringing intentional joy, meaningful connection and unforgettable experiences to Black women everywhere.
We started with two private phases of the Collective, each bringing together twelve women over five months. From an all black everything launch party in a luxury city centre suite, to cosy pyjama nights with meditation and card games, every event was designed with care. We rolled through a retro 70s themed celebration, went roller skating, hosted a final bottomless brunch, and gifted moments like a private pilates class with a Black instructor and karaoke with complimentary prosecco.
These weren’t just events, they were intimate, joyful and purpose led experiences that sparked real connection.
What We Do:

Why It Matters:
There are still not enough spaces where Black women are prioritised, celebrated and truly seen. So we created our own. We are not waiting to be invited. We are choosing each other, setting the tone and showing up with intention every single time.
Meet the Founder
Hey, I’m Ruwaydah, TikTok creator, founder of VIM and the woman behind the content. I started this Collective because I wanted to build something that felt real. A space where Black women could meet, connect and make memories that last. Whether you are new to a city or just craving community, I wanted you to feel like there was a place for you.
Alongside the Collective, I also run an entertainment and travel TikTok page and work with other freelance talent to bring visions to life. From curated dinners to destination events, everything I do is rooted in purpose and powered by community.
